The Scholarship Fund

Truly our organization’s greatest accomplishment, the Apex Invitational Golf Association Scholarship Fund, established in partnership with Investors Group Financial Services, exists to provide financial assistance to the young black students of Colchester Country entering a post-secondary institution.
Incorporated in July 1998, it was granted charitable status in 1999 with the first scholarships issued in the year 2000. To date, 129 scholarships totalling $101,700 have been issued to our youth. This would not be possible were it not for the donations from our golfers, our community, Investors Financial Group and Pye Chevrolet Buick GMC in Truro.
Another important source of funds over the years has been the Kimber Lee Memorial Karaoke. This celebration, in memory of Kimber Lee Paris, is put on the Sunday night of Apex weekend at the Engine Room on Esplanade by Kimber’s son, Jamie, in her honour. Family and friends gather together to sing (or simply support) some good ol’ fashion karaoke! All cover and donations go to the Scholarship Fund.
It is important we continue this initiative and support the future of our students. Click here to donate to the fund.
